PI CRAFT TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL PI DAY ON MARCH 14

March 14 may seem like an ordinary day to many folks. But for PI Craft Fast Fired Pizza Kitchen in Tonawanda, it’s a day to celebrate! They are taking National Pi Day to another level by giving all of customers a chance to be winners.

Not only will all customers at their location at 1750 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Tonawanda win a prize on March 14 (3.14), there will be chances to win free pizza for a year. Even better, the first fifty customers through the doors, starting at 11 a.m. will automatically get free pizza for a year!

“You don’t need a degree in math to be a winner on Pi Day,” said Jason Singer, regional manager. “Winning freshly-made, free pizza for year adds up to a great deal.” Local dignitaries, including N.Y. State Assemblyman, the Hon. Robin Schimminger, and members of the Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for the official ribbon-cutting to celebrate PI Craft and National Pi Day at 10:30 a.m. Pi Craft opened for business on Nov. 11, 2013.

'Top Chef' Star Fabio Viviani to Meet Fans at Amherst Store

'Top Chef' Star Fabio Viviani to Meet Fans at Amherst Store

In his travels around the world, Fabio Viviani has visited many places. But he's only passed through Western New York. That will change this weekend when he makes a special appearance in Amherst.

The Italian cuisinier and "Top Chef" fan favorite will participate in the grand opening celebration at BJ's Wholesale Club.

"I look forward to be at BJ's; we're going to be there for the event for the opening at the Amherst store. It's going to be great," he said in a phone interview. "We're going to raffle some cookbook, we're going to have some Q-and-As. It'll be a nice event."

Fabio will meet fans, sign copies of his new cookbook, "Fabio's Italian Kitchen," and, hopefully, have enough time left over to visit Niagara Falls.

"That's one of my top five wish list place to visit in the United States when I have time off," he said.
