In addition to all the food preparation and cooking taking place behind the scenes, there’s a tremendous amount of foot traffic — everyone from chefs to dishwashers and house managers to the waitstaff.

Needless to say, on any given day a restaurant kitchen floor also sees its share of spills and splashes. Food, beverages, water and even cooking oil can end up underneath the feet of restaurant employees at any point in time, increasing the likelihood of slips, falls and injuries to staff.

Dunkin’ Donuts Brings Cold Brew Coffee to Buffalo

Buffalo, NY (August 3, 2016) — Dunkin’ Donuts guests can enjoy a new coffee experience, as Cold Brew coffee is now available at all participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Western New York. Guests are invited to try a free sample of the Cold Brew coffee at local WNY Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants on August 5th and 6th between 10am and 2pm. Dunkin’ Donuts’ Cold Brew coffee is prepared by steeping a special blend of coffee in cold water over an extended period of time to extract a distinctive, rich flavor from the beans. The longer brewing process provides a rich, smooth coffee with an inherently sweeter flavor reminiscent of dark chocolate. Executive Chef Christopher Schork has been busy creating a new summer menu that rolls out on June 20 featuring several fresh seafood offerings, including fresh clams every Monday and Thursday night, and lighter fare. Guests who stop by for “Super Saturday” will enjoy drink and $2 jumbo hot dog specials at the bar or on the patio from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Niagara University broke ground today on an $8 million renovation and expansion of its dining facility located at Clet Hall.

The new, 20,000-square-foot Clet Dining Commons will open this fall with numerous improvements, including:
