Niagara Falls Painting Highlighted at Presidential Inauguration Luncheon | News
BUFFALO, NY-- A painting of Niagara Falls was front and center at the Presidential Inauguration luncheon Monday.
The 1856 painting by artist Ferdinand Richardt, was featured during NY Senator Chuck Schumer's introduction.
It was located behind President and Mrs. Obama at the luncheon.
The painting was loaned out by the State Department just for the luncheon, courtesy of outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
