Rescued Dog Saves Family | News

Newfane, NY -  Just a few weeks ago, Grace was rescued from Ohio.  She was found tied to a stop sign with her 2 week old puppies in a box next to her. 

Volunteers from Akron Canine Rescued Angels drove to bring them back to Western New York to find new homes. 

While being fostered by the Zeitz family in Newfane, Grace alerted the family to a fire in the basement before it got out of control. 

Alicia Zeitz says, "Dogs that are in shelters aren't broken.  They're loving, and they want to be a part of your family and Grace sure showed us that she wanted to be a part of ours."

Akron Canine Rescued Angels is always looking for foster families and has animals waiting to be adopted.
