The popular Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, featuring nearly 40 vendors selling fresh, seasonal and local produce and products, continues its 15th season on Oct. 18. A program of the Elmwood Village Association, the market is held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, rain or shine, through Nov. 29. 

Providing musical entertainment on Oct. 18 (weather permitting) will be Brian & Peg from 9:30 to 11 a.m, followed by Porcelain Train from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Occupying the market’s community tables this Saturday will be Border Community Services of Niagara University and Yelp Buffalo. Additionally, Weiss Farms will be bringing their popular pumpkin wagon to the market on Oct. 18 and 25!

Providing musical entertainment on Oct. 4 (weather permitting) will be singer/guitarist Don Z. from 9:30 to 11 a.m, followed by the Nickel City String Band from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Occupying the market’s community table this Saturday will be Liberty Mutual.

Providing musical entertainment on Aug. 30 (weather permitting) will be violinist David Adamczyk from 9:30 to 11 a.m, followed by Rob Falgiano from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Occupying the market’s community tables this Saturday will be the D’Youville College School of Pharmacy and the Echo Art Fair.

The popular Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, featuring nearly 40 vendors selling fresh, seasonal and local produce and products, continues its 15th season on June 28. A program of the Elmwood Village Association, the market is held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, rain or shine, through Nov. 29. 

Providing musical entertainment on June 28 (weather permitting) will be violinist David Adamczyk from 9:30 to 11 a.m., followed by the Kathy Moriarty Trio from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The market also welcomes two community groups this Saturday — Community Music School and GObike Buffalo.

Lewiston GardenFest set for June 21 & 22

Lewiston GardenFest sponsored by the Lewiston Garden Club is back for its 9th year of showcasing the historic village of Lewiston and the community’s love of gardening on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Located along Center Street, the festival includes demonstrations from master gardeners and floral society representatives along with more than 50 vendors selling flowers, plants, garden art and more to beautify one’s outdoor space. A free garden walk highlights gardens of local Lewiston residents.
