  • Water temperature 52 degrees.
  • The fishing activity will heat up as the winds die and water color clears this weekend.
  • Small mouth bass action has been great over the past week. The Buffalo Harbor is still producing numbers of fish in the 2lb to 4lb class  If you're looking for a trophy small mouth bass. Try fishing the areas from the wind mills (Smoke's Creek area)  to Hamburg beach in the 26' to 32' depths. Try fishing a three-way rig with a golden shinner on a Mustad drop shot hook red size 2 (10546R) .
  • Walleye fishing has still been better at night but a good day bite is starting.
  • The perch fishing has been very good. There are lots of limits of fish being caught.
  • The Canadian side of the Lake has been productive  Point Abino in 50' to 55' has been on fire.
