Ten long-time active physicians in the Niagara community will be recognized on Thursday, April 16 at the 3rd Founder’s Reception of Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center for providing more than 35 years of service to the community. In addition, four physicians who are still active and have reached 50 years of service will be cited.
Hospital President and Chief Executive Officer Judith Maness said the event is being held to recognize the dedicated efforts of long-time physicians who have served Mount St. Mary's Hospital and are still active in medicine. Together, the physicians being recognized have more than 350 years of experience.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mount St. Mary’s Foundation’s “Helipad Campaign” which is raising funds to bring a new helipad on the hospital campus.
