On Sunday, August 28 · 8:00pm - 9:30pm, PYA Canada held an Iftaar Fundraiser Dinner to Help Educate Pakistan!

Iftaar is an evening meal when Muslims break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan. Iftaar is often done as community, with people gathering to break their fast together. This month is about giving [the wealthy] and receiving [those in need.]

The Youth of Pakistan are focusing on what is most needed in Pakistan at this time, as a whole. Please watch the video below, share it and become a part of the solution.

Last week, 2 Your Town asked you the viewers to help us settle the longstanding debate of Tim Hortons vs. Dunkin Donuts and today we have declared a winner.

With 440 votes cast, Tim Hortons is Western New York's choice as the best coffee, best food, best prices, and ultimate favorite choice for your morning drive.

Not a total washout, Dunkin Donuts received about 30% of the votes in every category.

Finding motivation to be a better person can be challenging for some people especially given the bad news that hits our community’s airwaves regularly.  We are living in a society where crimes against other people seem to always be a regular occurrence especially against children, with little air time for good news that maybe happening in our neighborhoods.   So it can be easy to understand why some people get depressed and less motivated, there is little happiness coming their way.

The Buffalo Infringement Festival is an 11 day celebration of art of all kinds. It takes place in over 50 venues centered in Allentown and spans across the whole city of Buffalo. 

Artists perform in the usual venues and take over the streets of Allentown and the Elmwood Village.


There are 1200 performances and events scheduled in dance, theater, music, poetry, film, and visual installations.

In its 7th year, Infringement has grown tremendously from under 50 proposals in 2005, to 350 this year. Just about every artist in Buffalo takes part in the festival somehow and this year has 30 out- of - town acts coming to perform.
