AMDG Public Affairs is pleased to announce that Craig Turner of Wheatfield, N.Y. has joined the consultancy.  With over 18 years’ experience in media, PR, economic development and government relations, Craig has advocated for some of the highest-profile issues affecting Western New York and Southern Ontario.

Most recently, Craig served as vice president with the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, WNY’s regional chamber of commerce, where he directed the organization’s business development and government affairs efforts.

“Craig has a unique blend of experience and talents that fits well with our growth plans,” said AMDG Principal and Founder, Matt Davison. “He has spent time on both sides of the media relationship, has fought in the political and advocacy trenches, and has a strong network among government, business and community organizations in Western New York. His arrival will allow AMDG the capacity and expertise to pursue new directions and opportunities.”

Prior to his role at the Partnership, Craig served as press secretary for the Erie County Legislature, and was co-owner and marketing director of Stevens Driving School, the oldest driving school in WNY. He began his career as editor and reporter for the North Buffalo Rocket and West Side Times. Craig is also a veteran political consultant, having provided communications strategy and implementation for over 80 federal, state, local, referendum and judicial political campaigns in the past 15 years.

Craig resides in Niagara County with his wife, Nadine, and their four children.
