Jamestown, NY – “Evening Photography” is the subject at the next Jamestown Audubon Nature Photography Club meeting.

On Thursday, September 8, at 6:15 p.m. Cathy Abers-Kimball will describe best practices for either morning or evening photography, covering specific techniques for these times of day.

“Bokeh” and “Lighting Angles” are the topics for the image review that begins the meeting. Bokeh is about using the out-of- focus elements in the image to direct attention to your subject. Lighting Angles is a study of how front, side, and back light affect the look of your subject.

Illustrated presentations on not worrying about lens sharpness or noise and how to learn your camera will be in the 15-minute tech portion of the meeting.

A social time follows the program.
