Niagara University Graduate Publishes St. Joseph’s Day Table Cookbook

A Niagara University graduate has published a book to help Roman Catholics set their St. Joseph’s Day table.

Mary Ann Giordano, a 1986 alumna of NU’s College of Hospitality & Tourism Management, is introducing The Saint Joseph’s Day Table Cookbook, which chronicles the history, recipes and traditions of the feast day commemorating the life of Jesus Christ’s earthly father.

Giordano, the executive chef at the Creekview Restaurant in Williamsville, collaborated with her father, Paul Giordano, M.D., and Nica Jadok to create the cookbook.

Cookbooks may be purchased at www.BuffaloHeritage.com as of March 6, 2012. A launch party was held to celebrate the release of the new cookbook at Artisan Kitchens and Baths (200 Amherst St., Buffalo).

St. Joseph’s Day traditionally takes place annually on March 19.
