Niagara Falls' Mayor Visits St. Dominic's Students

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Niagara Falls' Mayor Paul Dyster spoke at Catholic Academy of Niagara Falls, St. Dominic Savio Middle School Campus on October 28, 2010. 

Seventh grade Social Studies students studied the history of Niagara Falls and did projects on Niagara Falls Revitalization. They took field trips to look at different areas of the city. Students worked in groups and learned about development and planning. 

Mayor Dyster looked at each of the students' projects and commented on their plans. He discussed the history of the city and upcoming plans and took questions from the students.  Mayor Dyster told students that the main task of society is to provide for the future of our young people. He complimented the students on their projects and said he could see that our city's future is in good hands!
